Welcome to the WEJ School Council and Lunch web site. On this site parents will be able to place lunch orders for their children.
We believe that by involving and informing parents we will have a more supportive and effective school environment for our children. It is up to us to work together to ensure our children have the best possible school experience.
Hot Lunch Program is NOW Accepting Orders for Term 3 (March to June 2024)
The Hot Lunch Program is now accepting orders for Term 3 that cover March to June 2024. Orders can be placed now until midnight March 16th, 2024.
Milk and Juice deliveries start the week of Monday, March 18th.
Subway delivery starts the week of Tuesday, March 19th.
Pizza delivery starts the week of Wednesday, March 20th.
All food orders must be paid in advance by midnight Saturday, March 16th, 2024. If orders are not paid by the due date, then those orders will be canceled and as a result, no food will be delivered for those orders.
Parents can use their existing login credentials to login to http://wejcouncil.hotlunches.net to place the order and if any parents don’t have logins, then please follow the instructions listed on the main hotlunch website to register first before placing the order.

Please note that if school buses are canceled due to inclement weather, WEJPS Parent Council’s lunch program DOES NOT run as scheduled. If your child will be attending school, please send your child (ren) with lunch. Any missed lunches due to snow days will be rescheduled to another day and parents will be notified about the makeup day as soon as one becomes available.
If a SNOW DAY is called and the school is STILL OPEN, THE LUNCH LADY WILL STILL DELIVER
Parents, whose child (ren) will not attend school, must email the kitchen ottawawest@thelunchlady.ca prior to 8am to be eligible for a credit in their account. Uncollected lunches are NOT left at school and are NOT eligible for credit.
Complete the rest of the registration form. (Including your email address will ensure you receive reminder emails about hot lunch order deadlines and your child's hot lunch order for the upcoming week)
Make sure to note down the userid/password that you selected as you will be using it to login into the system for future orders or verifications.

2. Enter all your child(ren) into the system:
Once you are logged in, click on “Students” and follow the instructions to add each child in your family who attends W. Erskine Johnston Public School. Note that the system will automatically fill in their last name, but please edit this if the student’s last name is not the same as your own.
Once your child(ren) is registered, click on "Orders"
Proceed to order hot lunch for your child(ren)
3. Payment:
After placing all your orders for the child(ren), choose "Pay Now With PayPal" (to complete your payment online using PayPal or to pay by credit card or Visa Debit as a one-time transaction)
Please note that we only accept hot lunch order payments through PayPal (www.paypal.com). If you are unable to place the order through PayPal, then please contact lunch admin via wejlunches@gmail.com to make further arrangements to complete the order.
